An environmental policy specialist, a natural resources economist, and a programming specialist provided technical and analytical support to the Africa Bureau and its missions for field programming in global climate change activities. The team furnished recommendations and guidelines for the development and implementation of bureau, mission, and host-country activities in Africa to reduce harmful emissions and mitigate negative socioeconomic impacts of land-use patterns.
