Rich parks and wildlife in Tanzania have fueled exponential tourism growth, putting these resources under significant pressure and making critical the need to manage them in sustainable ways. Under the GreenCOM IQC, Chemonics is building support for new environmental activities by developing educational and training activities for communities around Tarangire and Ugala National Parks as well as for game managers and wardens, safari and tourism operators, and NGOs.
