Rich parks and wildlife in Tanzania fueled exponential tourism growth, putting these resources under significant pressure and making critical the need to manage them in sustainable ways. Under the follow-on task order under the Environmental Education and Communication indefinite quantity contract, Chemonics continued to build support for environmental activities by developing educational and training activities for communities around Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ugala National Parks as well as for game managers and wardens, safari and tourism operators, and NGOs.
