At NRCE, Mr. Hamai serves as the supervisor of the California office as well as the project manager for several studies including comprehensive water development plans, irrigation system investigations, and water claims studies. His duties in these capacities include coordination with clients, water negotiation and management support, preparation and review of reports, estimation of flows for ungaged streams, and designs of optimized pipe network. His other responsibilities at NRCE include hydraulic modeling, statistical evaluation of river flows, and the design of reservoirs, pipe networks, and groundwater wells for irrigation systems. Mr. Hamai also has expertise in technical support for water negotiations, reservoir operation modeling, water distribution systems design, water depletion and supply studies, and water availability estimations.
