With twelve years of experience in community development and participation, Mr. Gerhardt has worked as a community participation specialist in Georgia, Cambodia, and Guatemala. In Cambodia Mr. Gerhardt administered four different technical programs dealing with hydrology/small scale irrigation, animal health, rehabilitation/prosthetics and community development. Also as a project ecologist, he provided technical assistance for a hydroelectric development project in Guatemala.
