Mr. Bovee assists with the conceptual and final design of irrigation facilities including canals, diversion structures, water control structures, and water measurement structures. He performs hydraulic computer simulation modeling of open-channel flow and water distribution systems and formulates technical memorandums and engineering reports, construction-level drawings, technical specifications, and project cost-estimating. In addition, Mr. Bovee assists in litigation support for water rights claims, develops GIS coverages of irrigated lands, water rights, and land ownership for mapping and analysis, analyzes flow records, water rights, and irrigation diversions, and designs on-farm irrigation systems for practicably irrigable acreage analyses of Indian water rights quantification. Mr. Bovee also works on estimating available surface water supplies using various rainfall-runoff hydrologic models.
